Ceramic Bowl

Here is a ceramic bowl. I took a slab of clay and rolled it out on a slab roller. Then, I drew the shape of my bowl on a sheet of paper so I could place the flattened clay on top of the design and cut out the shape of the bowl. After I cut out the shape of the bowl, I placed the clay in a bowl so the clay could be bowl-like. Then, I drew designs in my bowl and painted red clay over top of some parts to make the bowl more colorful. After alll the designs were done, I set out the bowl for a day to dry and harden a little bit that way I could take the bowl out of the other bowl and put it in the kiln. Once out of the kiln, I glazed it that way it could be put back into the kiln once more so my bowl has a glassy feel to it and look shiny. (:
